I’ll cut to the chase: If Congress doesn’t act soon, middle-class Americans will see their taxes go up starting on January 1st, taking almost $1,000 out of the pockets of a typical family next year.
It is sad how you see our current status in the US, because people do not like being told what to do by a African American. What’s stranger is that every republican candidate is a waste of time, and shows no hope for any better. Did you know you could face higher taxes now, because congress did not agree on budget cuts.

@wfustudent No, not the whole world, but there is a large sum of people that dislike or even hate Germany because of WWI and WWII, and they are ill informed. They know nothing of present day Germany, and all the good things she does for the world.
@kadeGibson I don’t think the world has a problem with Germany at all. I’m a political science major, and I’ve never met a fellow student who did not admire present-day Germany for its integrity and leadership in the EU. Sure, ill-informed people who don’t know any history beyond WWII might have a bad image of Germany, but the world at large does not. I mean, for fuck’s sake, you’re saying that the world is pissing on Germany under a video of Angela Merkel being given the US Medal of Freedom.
